Managing Editor

Justin Lawrence Daugherty–author of Whatever Don’t Drown Will Always Rise (Passenger Side Books)–is the Managing/Founding Editor of Sundog Lit. He lives in Omaha, Nebraska (for now). He is working on a novella, Now, the Destruction of Days. His work appears in some places such as The Normal School, The Collagist, Barrelhouse, Necessary Fiction, Hobart, and elsewhere. He forgets to update his site a lot and tweets @jdaugherty1081 far too much.

Eric Neuenfeldt lives in California. His collection of short stories, Fall Ends Tomorrow, won the 2010 Iron Horse Literary Review Single-Author Competition. His recent work has appeared or is forthcoming in ConfrontationREAL: Regarding Arts & LettersMidwestern GothicBig FictionThe Chariton Review, and elsewhere. He recently completed a novel.

Leyna Krow has an MFA in fiction from Eastern Washington University. Her short stories have appeared in Ninth Letter, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Santa Monica Review, and others. She lives in Spokane, Washington with her boyfriend, dog, and one house plant.

Poetry Editor

Aubrey Ryan lives on the prairie. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Anti-, Quarterly West, Best New Poets 2011, Phantom Limb, DIAGRAM, Cellpoems, Squat Birth Journal, and elsewhere. She is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, and winner of the Booth Poetry Award and a Tupelo Press Project Award. Aubrey also raises her toddling son, a sourdough starter, and batches of herbal mead.

Amy Pajewski is a Reference & Instruction librarian at West Texas A&M University where she provides leadership in social media outreach and emerging technologies in the classroom. She is near completion of her MA in English Literature, her work has appeared in numerous literary journals, and she is a poetry editor for Sundog Lit. Amy holds an MS in Library Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania as well as a BA in English from Millersville University. Amy serves on the Editorial Committee for the Open Library of Humanities and is also a soon-to-be graduate of  the Harvard Graduate School’s Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians class of 2013.

Cynthia Brandon Slocum lives in Spokane, Washington where, some days, she rides her bike to teach at Gonzaga University, and, other days, drives to Coeur d’Alene to teach at North Idaho College. She has an MFA from Northern Michigan University. Her previous work can be found in Fourth Genre, River Teeth, Southern Indiana Review, and other essays are forthcoming in Arcadia and Redivider.
