There could be an opposite of prime.
There’s only so much travel
one can go from one volcano
to the next, hinting at hinters,
almost lost between the pale sheets
and covered with new flowers,
which are like an invention.
 
Maybe you languaged yourself
until you couldn’t see. Or
maybe you got off the road
that would take you to a book
written in a vernacular you
could barely understand, and
maybe you were made of words.
 
There’s only so much travel. One
bird cries to another from
the top of a pending earth-
quake, peppered with new science.
