A rundown of the nonprofit organizations Sundog will be donating to this quarter, plus ways to help:

This quarter, Sundog Lit is donating funds to nonprofit organizations that are pursuing agendas that we as a group believe in. Here’s a rundown of the three organizations we’ve chosen to invest our humble financial efforts:
A champion of trangender rights, the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund utilizes a combination of pro bono litigation work, public education, and community organizing in order to end discrimination against transgender people.
The National Low-Income Housing Coalition works to achieve public policy that ensures safe and affordable housing for those with the lowest incomes in the country. The organization has been particularly active during the Covid-19 pandemic, providing information on local housing programs to help the families that have been affected most by the pandemic.
And finally, we’ve also decided to support the NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program, which seeks to support local leadership nationwide in educating and addressing issues of environmental and climate justice in their communities, which often are tied with issues of racial justice.
